IVSA Holiday Pour Recap

The Beverage Centres were proud to serve as the Presenting Title Sponsor for the 2025 IVSA Holiday Pour. This year’s event was the perfect way to welcome the season, bringing together wineries, beverage agents, distributors, hospitality leaders, and producers for an afternoon rooted in genuine connection and shared celebration across the BC beverage community.

Hosted by Chef’s Favourite at the pop-up Holiday Club, the Holiday Pour delivered a fresh and elevated experience for guests. We extend our sincere thanks to IVSA Executive Director Stacy Kyle, Executive Assistant Laurie Lamarche, and the IVSA Board of Directors for bringing new energy and vision to this annual celebration.

Our CEO, Nadine McDowell, opened the afternoon with a welcome toast, sharing thoughtful remarks about the strength of the beverage community and the industry’s resilience in the face of recent challenges. Her comments reflected the collective spirit of perseverance, adaptability, and collaboration that defines this sector.

A standout highlight of the event was the lunch prepared by Michelin star trained Chef Jefferson Alvarez, which elevated the entire experience and set the tone for meaningful conversations. The shared dining experience provided an opportunity for reflection on how businesses have navigated demanding market conditions and positioned themselves for future growth.

The Holiday Pour also created the ideal backdrop for discussions around operational needs including bonded warehousing, integrated logistics and 3PL distribution. These conversations reinforced the importance of strong infrastructure and supportive partnerships in helping beverage businesses thrive.

For Beverage Centers, this event was about much more than a seasonal celebration. It reflected the heart of our work.
